Is It a Genuine Longaberger?

The Longaberger Company is a family owned company based in Newark, Ohio, and all of the baskets are Made in the U.S.A. Each basket is made from maple hardwood, and is carefully handcrafted using horizontal and vertical pieces woven together and then a reinforcement band is added as the final touch. Every basket is initialed and dated by the weaver and is stamped on the bottom, Longaberger, Handmade Baskets, Dresden, Ohio. If you do not find this on the bottom of the basket, it is not a genuine Longaberger basket.
